Adam's Baby

This is the computer that Adam built in high school. He spent the greater part of two days trying to put it all in a smaller computer case and I tried to stay out of the way, keeping my horror at the sheer number of wires and mysterious silver parts to myself.

We bought a desk off of Craigslist for Adam. It is huge. It instantly dwarfed all the other furniture in my living room. I thought it might be too big but apparently the desk's pull out typewriter shelf was a big selling point for Adam. It's pretty old and ridiculously heavy! We got it halfway up the stairs to the apartment before I couldn't lift it anymore. Fortunately my downstairs neighbor offered to help, and he and Adam lifted it the rest of the way!
