Dinner
I found a new pizza dough recipe online so we tried it a couple of times this week. This recipe calls for flour, plain yogurt, and baking powder only! The cultures in the yogurt act like yeast I guess.

The first night I tried it, I used half white flour and half whole wheat flour, but it wasn't too great. The dough was pretty heavy and the flavor was too thick.
So then a few nights later I tried using just plain white flour instead (this is the dough in the pizza below), and it was great! It was so much better. I was disappointed since I wanted to try to make a whole wheat pizza, but at least in this particular recipe it made a big difference.

i can't wait till christmas!! you will be slaving away in the kitchen and making food for me =) the freshman 15 is now the holiday 50. sounds about right! oh my goodness....... someone needs to handcuff me to a treadmill..........
ReplyDeleteI'll handcuff you to a treadmill! All you need to do is to ask....Koko, that pizza looks amazing! Make sure to bring the recipe when you come. We all decided that we'll have pizza night every 3rd day or so.
