Our first Christmas tree!
Our tradition is to buy an ornament each anniversary. The one below is from Banff.
This next one was from our 1st anniversary, from the aquarium in San Diego.
And in honor of my favorite tree topper in history:
It's not quite a plush pink starfish.
I like the tree. The star does resemble mama's pink starfish, doesn't it. Only it looks like a star. I'll campaign hard for the starfish to top our tree again this year. Mama and Kevin are gone this weekend to Camp Lutherhaven, a Lutheran (surprise)camp on the bank of Lake Coeur d'Alene for a kids' event. It snowed quite a bit Friday and Saturday, so it must have been pretty there. We'll probably put up our tree today when they get home. This year we won't be able to go with the Maynards to get a tree in the mountain as Kevin has a swim meet in Idaho that weekend. We'll send you some photos of Mama and Kevin's weekend and the starfish-topped tree.
