Tofu dengaku with soba and vegetables. I used leftover sauce for the vegetables like mom suggested. It was very good, although the tofu didn't much look like the google images I found.
Adam really liked it. I looked away for a second and caught him pouring the tsuyu onto his plate of soba noodles. Americans!

Perhaps, the tofu was cut too narrow. Or maybe it really needs to be grilled on a Hibachi grill or something so tofu gets dry and with grill marks. Mine turned out somewhat wet because broiling in the oven lets tofu to sit in the juice it produces. The sauce is versatile, but watch out for higher salt content if you make a habit of it.
