Hiking!

Cougar Crest trail in Big Bear. It was so cold! There was still icy snow in patches. Towards the end it started to drizzle, I think snow was in the forecast for the night.

The hour+ drive is maybe a bit long and windy, but the nature up there is superior to the nature down here. No two ways around that one. If gas wasn't an issue I'd want to go every weekend!

But. Every person on the trail had a dog. Including one named Lexie. Seriously, why do I even bother living without a dog of my own.

    Big Bear is a great place. The pictures remind me of hiking in the Angeles Crest area. I can't wait till we can get out a do some hiking.

    Kevin just came and told me that he refuses to believe that that is Adam.

    I believe that beneath that layer of beard and sun glasses, there's still good ol'Adam hiding there.
