Adam may complain about eating too many vegetables, but signing up for this CSA has been a great move! It's brought down our weekly grocery bill by at least $25-50. We are hardly eating anything processed. It's all organic and helps out family owned farms. I've learned how to cook vegetables I never would have picked up before. Plus it's great for throwing together meals. Like tonight, Adam is with his friends and I am home studying. I might previously have grabbed fast food, but this way I can use up the week's leftovers, save money, and have something healthy. Tonight's meal was a potato, chard, and radicchio scramble. Something I never in a million years would have made without being forced to by last week's CSA selection.
(Adam is very grateful for the Red Robin gift card. And the curry. He loves curry!)

its makes me hungry..i think i taste good..great blog..
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of you!!! It looks good, too. That's my kind of food. Make sure you eat enough protein, too! Recently, I realized that I can mix protein powder in brownies & other strong flavored baked goods. I have to make myself more brownies!
ReplyDeletedo you know what csa stands for?
