Today around 4pm I was driving to Stater Bros. It is a warm evening, and I could smell someone's barbecue going. It reminded me of these dinners outside on Jackson St. I miss these!
I miss those as well. There were many things I didn't like about that house, but I enjoyed that yard. I remember mama and I standing there in the backyard after we first bought that house, planning what kind of landscaping we'd do. We all enjoyed those barbecues. That photo was taken by me standing right at the grill, in front of the snowball bush.
