Today,

the first day in the glorious luxury of two whole days off, was a great day. A short hike in Lynnwood starting out green,

and ending abruptly onto a beach with a view of Whidbey Island and more rocks than I could believe,

with streams inexplicably housing broken old bits of little crabs, meant for saving in leftover lunch containers for later reconstruction,

and many old crab backs to be carefully dried and admired.
